These timetables are valid from Sunday 21 May 2017 and are posted at all East Suffolk Lines stations. Special timetables are in effect during bank holidays and when engineering works take place.

Engineering Works

Sundays 10/09, 17/09, and 24/09: IPSWICH - WOODBRIDGE AND IPSWICH - FELIXSTOWE

As a result of track work lines will be closed between Ipswich - Woodbridge and Ipswich - Felixstowe all day on three consectutive Sundays. A rail replacement bus service will operate between Colchester/ Ipswich and Woodbridge and on the Felixstowe line. The bus will not call at Westerfield. Passengers at Westerfiled should use the Help Point at the station to arrange travel.

To help with connections at Lowestoft some services between Lowestoft and Norwich will depart Lowestoft up to 10 minutes later.

Engineering Works

Weekends 21/10, 22/10, 28/10, 29/10: BECCLES - LOWESTOFT

As a result of signalling work the line will be closed between Beccles and Lowestoft all day Saturday 21/10, Sunday 22/10, Saturday 28/10, and Sunday 29/10. A rail replacement bus service will operate Beccles and Lowestoft. The bus will also replace the train between Saxmundham and Lowestoft on the first departure to Ipswich and the last departure to Lowestoft; during these times the bus will not call at Brampton. Passengers at Brampton should use the Help Point at the station to arrange travel.

At Oulton Broad South the bus will pick up and drop passengers at Coach Park / St. Marks Church on the main Bridge Road.

Journey CheckTrain operator Greater Anglia offers real time information wherever you are. The Journey Check service allows you to "know before you go." Journey Check sends real time information on any delays, disruptions, or cancelled services right to your mobile as an SMS text message, or as an email to your smartphone, PC, laptop, tablet, or any internet-enabled device. You will also be alerted when services return to normal. 

The information can be customised to any set of departure or arrival stations, the day of the week, and the time of day so you only received the alerts that interest you. The service is free apart from a single SMS used for confirmation purposes (charged at your standard network rate).
